So I realized that it has been quite a while since I’ve shared any of my work. I apologize for that. Things have been very hectic and stressful for these past few months. There are still photos from Mother’s Day that I have to finish sorting through and upload, and I’m so sorry I haven’t gotten to that yet. As soon as I get the chance, I will! There is still a lot going on, but I decided that I still needed to share something, so here’s dinner! It’s my first time eating pizza in over a year, and it was delicious- packed with BBQ sauce, chicken breast, broccoli, green and yellow squash, and mushrooms, and loaded with mozzarella cheese!

Also, follow heartofcrimson13 for all Crimson updates! Crimson is being re-released, so be sure to get all the latest news!

The original Les Miserables manuscript arrives in Melbourne.

Okay, so I know this has nothing to do with my blog, but I really love Les Miserables, so I’m reblogging this anyway.

Hey everyone! I have a very special announcement to make!

Crimson is going to be re-released

The revised edition of Crimson will be featured under a new, better name, and changes have been made. It also contains an alternate ending. The coming weeks hold in store lots of layout work for publication, so it is likely that I will not have the time to spread the word about this exciting news! I would truly appreciate if you could help me out.

That said, the original version of Crimson will be discontinued. There will be just one month where both versions are available, and then the original will no longer be available. However, if you would like to preorder the revised edition, you may preorder through me.

Until then, you can purchase the original version of Crimson here.

Signed copies of the revised edition and the original version are both available, but only if you order through me (heartofcrimson13@yahoo.com).

Hey everyone! I’d really appreciate if you could all reblog and signal boost this.

Don’t forget, you can still get your copy here, and check out the official site here.

Hey everyone! My name is Dawn, and I’m an artist, photographer, author, and graphic designer based in New York. Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From the moment I could hold things in my hand, I was provided crayons and paper and encouraged to create. Story time was always looked forward to, and if I wasn’t being read to, I was making up a story of my own, until I could read a book myself.

As I grew older, my art was always featured in galleries both in and outside of school. In elementary school, I was asked to paint murals on the windows of local businesses, as well as a set for the middle school play. In middle school, every essay was praised, and short stories were encouraged. I even had one teacher put in her request for an autographed copy of my first novel. In high school, I filled every empty slot in my schedule with some sort of creative class. I had a slot of air time for my school’s radio station, and many of my TV and radio projects went hand in hand with graphic projects.

After graduation, I realized that I couldn’t have just one thing as a career goal. I had to do it all, or I wouldn’t feel fulfilled. I’m always searching for new ways to express myself, and at some point, I want to try my hand at acting and modeling.

My first novel, Crimson, was published in November of 2013, and my second book is in the works. Existing photography is always up for grabs, and you can always schedule a photoshoot. I’m currently looking for models as well. Existing art is also for sale. Certain pieces are prints, while some originals may be purchased. I do commissions as well. If you’re interested in any particular work, feel free to drop me a line at dbheath2690@yahoo.com

Exclusively on tumblr, exists the option to request two fun little side projects I have, called the Almosts! and the Revolutionaries! The request box is always open.

Inbox me your Almosts! (Les Miserables (mostly barricade boys)/Graceland) and Revolutionaries! (Les Miserables (mostly barricade boys) requests. Headcanons/canons/ships welcome. Not into those? Send me a request for another character, and they will have a guest appearance as an almost!
I take pride in every piece of work I create, and I enjoy sharing it with all of you!
